Michael Leiter

Dr. Michael Leiter is the Founder of Michael Leiter & Associates and the Canadian Centre for Organizational Research & Development. He has worked extensively with organizations around the world to address issues of workplace health. For more than two decades, he has researched burnout and methods to banish it. Together with co-author Dr. Christina Maslach, he coined the term "work engagement" as the antithesis to burnout. He is a desired speaker at international conferences on worklife and is now consulting with organizations that want to improve. He is excited to offer his newest program, Civility, Respect, and Engagement at Work (CREW).

Lisa Speigel

Lisa Speigel

Lisa Speigel is a Principal Consultant with Michael Leiter & Associates. Lisa has consulting experience with both private and public sector organizations, most recently specializing in health care organizations. Currently, Lisa manages the Civility, Respect, and Engagement at Work (CREW) Solution, along with numerous other research projects. She has worked extensively in the health human resource sector, focusing on recruitment, retention, and engagement issues. Lisa holds a Master of Arts (Sociology).

Erika d'Eon

Erika d'Eon

Erika d'Eon is a Consultant with Michael Leiter & Associates. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in social work from Université de Moncton and a Social Work Master's degree from Dalhousie. Her work experience has included both clinical social work and community-based work. Her most recent position was as Executive Director of the Calgary Military Family Resource Centre. Erika is a Crew Companion for several sites participating in the program.

Audrey Kruisselbrink

Audrey Kruisselbrink

Audrey Kruisselbrink is a Consultant with Michael Leiter & Associates and serves as a CREW Companion. After an undergraduate degree in Sociology, Audrey graduated from the University of Victoria with a Master’s Degree in Policy and Practice in the Health and Social Services. She has 10 years of applied experience as a social worker for the BC government, in both child protection and services for children with special needs.

Patricia Sweet

Patricia Sweet

Patricia Sweet has a Bachelor of Secretarial Arts degree from Mount Saint Vincent University. She has several years of work experience in various types of office environments and after a long absence from the workforce is glad to use those administrative skills again on a part-time basis for the Centre.
